Shaunice

I was asked by the New York State Department of Health to submit a sketch for one of their new campaigns focusing on HIV/AIDS awareness. The character is a transgender woman who contracted HIV as a teen and suffers from depression because she conceals her identity. She’s only her true self when she goes out late at night with friends. Usually I say no to free speculative (or “spec”) work, but this seemed like a good cause and a worthwhile gig if they like the sketch, so I gave it a shot.

FutureTee Logo

I don't usually make logos, but I tried my hand at some for the site I previously made the "Lab in the Lab" design for, FutureTee.

"Renton the Robot" Page 1

Here's a look at a completed page from "Renton the Robot," the children's book I'm currently illustrating. It's about a robot who works as a waiter and dreams of being an actor.
